Frasers Hospitality Unveils Further Expansion in Europe

Frasers Introduces Two of its Newest Properties in Prime Kensington, London and Champs-Élysées , Paris

Singapore , 02 February 2007 - Frasers Hospitality (Frasers), a Singapore-based and international branded serviced residence management company today announced the opening of Fraser Place Queens Gate, its newest premier, extended-stay residence in Kensington, Central London . The property is the company's fifth serviced residence in London which was recently ranked as the second most expensive city in Europe, with accommodation costs steadily increasing year-on-year.

This new residence joins Frasers Hospitality's rapidly expanding portfolio of properties worldwide, including the newly opened Le Claridge, situated on the famous Avenue des Champs-Élysées, close to the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower in Paris . Le Claridge is Frasers' second property in Paris .

“Discerning world travellers appreciate the larger spaces in serviced residences and this is especially true in Europe where hotel rooms are relatively small. We believe that serviced residences are viable solutions for travellers who want bigger quality space with quality service,” said Mr. Choe Peng Sum, Chief Executive Officer at Frasers Hospitality.

“Even before the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games, we have been experiencing strong demand for travel accommodations in Europe and have thus earmarked the region for growth and expansion. Already, Frasers has seen a year-on-year increase of approximately 8 percent in average rates for our serviced residences in the UK and Paris , even as business travel to Europe grew by about 8 percent from the year 2004 to 2005,” added Mr. Choe.

The company's rapid expansion in Europe is testimony to its continued success. Recording an average of 90 percent occupancy across all properties in 2006, residents' constant appreciation of Frasers' brand of Asian-styled warm and intuitive hospitality and personalised services, as well as a high number of repeat clients who insist on staying in Frasers' serviced residences when they relocate to other cities, reaffirm the strength of the Fraser brand.

“In addition to being the world's busiest centres for business and commerce, London and Paris have always been preferred vacation destinations as they offer an unrivalled selection in European arts and culture, food and entertainment ,” commented Mr. Choe.

“Our serviced residences in the UK and Paris - Fraser Suites and Fraser Place - are located in the prime locations of Kensington, Chelsea, Canary Wharf, Merchant City, Champs-Élysées and Harmonie, and are well-placed to capture the high-end, corporate market which comprises 70 percent of our clientele, as well as the short and mid-term business and leisure travel segments,” added Mr. Choe.

The renowned shops of Knightsbridge, Kensington and Chelsea including restaurants, café, bars, Royal Parks, museums and West End theatres are all within walking distance of Fraser Place Queens Gate. The vicinity is also home to Britain 's two most famous stores – Harrods and Harvey Nichols. It is also within five minutes walking distance to Gloucester station, served by Piccadilly, Circle and District Lines which provides direct connection to the main stations, Heathrow airport and London 's West End.

Fraser Place Queens Gate in Kensington provides easy access to places of interest such as Kensington Palace and The Royal Gardens, The Royal Albert Hall, Earls Court Exhibition, Conference and Concert Hall, The Natural History and Science Museum , and Victoria and Albert Museum .
