Known as ‘The Bad Boys of Abridgement’, the Reduced Shakespeare Company is a three-man comedy troupe that takes long serious subjects and reduces them to short, sharp comedies. In this merciless but affectionate satire, they set their sights on the comic lunacy of the world’s most well-known book, The Bible. The result is a tour-de-farce of vaudevillian physical comedy that will delight every Christian, Atheist, Agnostic, Heathen and follower of any other religion in the family. The ultimate re-telling of the world’s best seller where the good book just gets better, critics have called it a revelation, uproarious and funny as hell. It features amazing special effects, partial nudity, sex and violence and that’s just the Old Testament. From fig leaves to vinyl judgment, from Adam and Eve, to Sodom and Gomorrah it’s a rollicking night not to be missed. Join the original Reduced Shakespeare Company who put ‘fun’ into Fundamentalism, and take the ‘intellect’ out of intellectualism.
