When it comes to celebrating Oktoberfest, there is no better place to be than in Germany. And here in Berlin, we certainly know how to make the most it by running a 6-week event to celebrate.

Where and when does the Spreewiesn Oktoberfest take place?
Spreewiesn 2019 will be running from the Saturday September 14th to Saturday October 26th. The 6-week event will take place in the heart of the city at the uber cool venue, Postbahnhof. The ex-postal station is located opposite the East Side Gallery on the River Spree.
How can I get tickets to Spreewiesn Oktoberfest?
At the time of writing, the admission fee has yet to be released.

A table reservation is highly recommended if you plan on making a day of it, especially for larger groups.
Anything I need to know about attending a proper Oktoberfest before going?
Although you won’t be turned away for not being in full costume, you are fully encouraged to get into the Bavarian spirit of the event. Why not join in on the fun and dress up? You don’t have to go in full Dirndl or Lederhosen, even a little effort is appreciated.
How can I get to Spreewiesn Oktoberfest from Capri by Fraser Berlin?
Just outside the hotel, you can hop on a short 10-minute bus ride on either the number 147 or 248 to the venue. The buses run fairly frequently, every 20 minutes. Postbahnhof is roughly around 2 minutes’ walk away from the stop at Ostbahnhof station.
If you are feeling up for a walk, you can stroll from the hotel to the venue in roughly 30 minutes. And if you are wearing your Lederhosen and don’t feel like braving public transport, a 4-minute Uber or rideshare will have you there in no time at all.
What can I expect to see at Spreewiesn Oktoberfest?
Expect to see an original Bavarian band playing their thigh slapping tunes. You’ll also find an array of German delicacies including Bratwurst and Schnitzel as well as beer jugs full of Löwenbräu Festbier.Don’t worry; there is fruit schnapps available if beer isn’t your thing. Remember that the day is all about responsible drinking and having fun.
