Things are going to get loud at Olympiastadion (Olympic Stadium) at the start of the month as Metallica touch down in Berlin for what it’s arguably the biggest rock event of the year.
As part of the European leg of their Worldwired World Tour, the metal legends are certainly going to turn things up a notch with over 70,000 fans screaming along to every song.
Expect some heavy hitters from their latest album, Hardwired... to Self-Destruct, as well as certified classics like Enter Sandman, For Whom The Bell Tolls and Master of Puppets. They may even throw Fuel or Frantic in there if they’re in the mood.

How can I get to the Olympiastadion from Capri By Fraser Berlin?
As with any event at the Olympiastadion, there is going to be a lot of people travelling from the centre of town out to the show. Luckily with our location so central to different routes, it’s incredibly easy to get there.
The most convenient option would be via the underground. Spittelmarkt is 500m away from our location. Taking the U Ruhleben (U2) line west, you don’t need to make any transfers or change transport. It will take you directly to Olympia-Stadion in 30 minutes.
You can also take a taxi to the concert, but it would take the same time as the subway.
Where can I eat near Olympiastadion?
Restaurants can be quite busy on event days around the stadium. We would advise getting something to eat in town first beside Spittelmarkt.
Informal spots with good food include Rotisserie Weingrün, Spitteleck Berlin, Tapas y mas (great for big groups) and MAMMAM Street Food Mitte.
Where can I find accommodation near Metallica at Olympiastadion?
For anyone visiting from out of town, you might be looking to make a weekend of it in Berlin.
If that’s the case, you’re best getting accommodation in town as there isn’t much to see and do when you’re in a hotel beside the venue.
Our serviced studio apartments are perfect if you need a trendy Berlin hotel room with something special. Designed with city travellers in mind, it’s a great suite for couples who will need somewhere they can relax after the show in a King or Twin bed while making it easier to see the sights the next day.
