What to experience at Gran Via Barcelona
As the largest conference and exhibition centre in Barcelona, and one of the most substantial and modern venues in Europe, Fira Gran Via hosts a number of world-class events throughout the year including travel and tourism event B-Travel, fitness and bodybuilding event Arnold Classic Europe, and the Euro Attractions Show, the premier event for professionals in the leisure and attractions sector.
Designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito, the building is the winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize and is strategically located between the centre and the airport. It is also extremely well served by metro and bus stations and is only a 20-minute drive from Capri by Fraser Barcelona via the B-10 motorway.
Additionally, just across the road from Fira Gran Via is the massive Gran Via 2 shopping centre, which features a number of stores including H&M, Hollister, JD Sports, Swarovski, Zara, and a huge food court featuring Spanish tapas food such as Canas y Tapas, and other interesting options such as La Tagliatella, and Udon. However, there are other options close by, with Albert Adrià’s Pakta only a 10-minute drive away, and some of the best seafood in Spain on offer at Rías de Galicia which is close by.
