If it’s happening in Sydney, it’s happening at the ICC. Comprising the Convention Centre, Exhibition Centre and the 9000-seat ICC Sydney Theatre, the ICC is a state-of-the-art venue epitomising everything that makes Australia’s iconic harbour city such a famous event destination. The centre represents a true feat of innovation and design: it boasts Australia’s largest ballroom, the first community-funded solar energy project of its kind, world-class dining facilities and an impressive array of programs designed to foster community and sustainability. From international summits, conventions and conferences to thumping rock concerts, there’s always something going on at this world-class venue.
ICC Sydney lies in an enviable location in Darling Harbour amongst the city’s biggest galleries, theatres, educational institutions, tech precincts and shopping centres. Fraser Suites is among the closest hotels to the venue: guests can walk to and from their accommodation in less than 10 minutes. The ICC’s location puts it close to the CBD, numerous restaurants and bars along King Street Wharf and the emerging Barangaroo district. It’s also next door to Tumbalong Park and the famous Chinese Garden of Friendship, a lush ornamental oasis hidden in the heart of Sydney. On the top floor of the Convention Centre, you’ll be gifted spectacular vistas of Darling Harbour and Sydney CBD.
