It opens on 21st November and runs every single day, except Christmas Day, until 5th January.
The park is open every day from 10 am until 10 pm.
What can you do at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland?
It is best to think of the Winter Wonderland as three separate attractions that intertwine in one big space.
The Christmas Market
Over 200 mini chalets are little shops selling everything from hand-made Christmas decorations and gifts that make perfect stocking stuffers to crafts and treats. There is also an ice rink, big wheel and the chance to visit Santa.
Food & Drink
There are dedicated food and drinks areas in the park. The Bavarian Village is the main meet-up point for most guests looking for a little tipple of mulled wine or German beer. There is also an ice bar if you can brave the cold, a Viking inspired Tipi (not Tiki) bar and karaoke space where you can belt out Last Christmas and Band-Aid.
With events like Paddington on Ice, Zippo’s Christmas Circus, Cirque Bezerk and Mr Men & Little Miss – The Show, it gives an idea of why so many people make the trip to Hyde Park.
Some shows go on all month long, including The Winter Wonderland Comedy Club which runs every Thursday to Saturday night.
Do you have to pay for Winter Wonderland?
It is absolutely free to go and see all the stalls at Winter Wonderland. If you wanted to see any of the shows and other events, you do have to buy tickets in advance due to demand. You can do that here.
Is the Winter Wonderland busy?
Yes, it can get busy. For any guests staying here during the week, you shouldn’t have too many problems getting around and seeing the entire market. The closer it gets to Christmas the busier it gets with 17th December to 3rd January considered peak times.
On the weekends you may have yourself having to queue to get in.
